These fit directly onto the standard battery box bracket found on civilian SBU Unimogs.
The military Unimogs have a wider steel battery box that takes up more chassis space and often rusts. When converting to an expedition vehicle one of the easiest space saving measures is to remove this and fit the aluminium box. This requires a new mounting bracket and internal fittings. Standard NATO batteries will need to be changed to the civilian type. Price for this work on request.
