UG 3/100 Gearbox Conversion
Compared to the older UG 3/40 and 3/65 gearboxes the UG 3/100 is more robust, offers quicker shifting & has a 25 % increase in ratio.
The reduction in engine revs at a given cruising speed reduces noise & improves fuel consumption and the cost is reasonable when compared to other expensive upgrades such as the Overdrive units.
Forward & Reverse are shifted by air making manouvering more convenient.
We can supply a reworked UG3/100 gearbox ready to retro fit into your SBU Unimog subject to availability of suitable gearboxes.
Your old gearbox may have a part exchange value to us.
