A Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS) allows you to adjust your tyre pressures from the comfort of the driver's seat.
This allows you to optimise the pressures for the terrain, having these set correctly significantly improves the performance both on and off road as well as reducing tyre wear and improving safety.
We are pleased to bring to market the first complete retro-fit integrated central tyre inflation system (CTIS) for Unimogs.
The AV CTIS system is available exclusively for fitting in our workshop.
We have reverse-engineered many factory components and developed our own solutions for retro-fitting.
Due to the difference between Unimog model series we cannot provide a fixed price for fitting this system but we're happy to provide an estimate based on your vehicle chassis number, axle numbers and photos.
The AV CTIS retro-fit system includes:
Machining your axle casings and side gears to accept the CTIS components.
All pipe work, valves and additional air tank.
Hoses & high flow valves for wheels
Wheel hub caps x4.
In cab gauges & switches.
Retro-fitting CTIS is an involved process and the nature of the work means that other repairs and upgrades such as fast hub gears or crownwheel and pinion can be carried out at the same time to save time and money.
