Finding a place for the essential spare wheel can be tricky when you want to maximise the useable space for the habitation box and storage.
A roof rack is a good solution however this does increase the centre of gravity and needs to be removed before tipping the cab for maintenance.
The rear of the box is the most often used space and we have put spare wheels on our motorbike carrier and even integrated a separately actuated carrier between the arms of the motorbike carrier so the wheel can tuck neatly onto the chamfer.
On some trucks it is possible to fit the spare below the chassis on a cable winch system which leaves both sides of the chassis free for fuel tanks and toolboxes.
We will design the best solution for your truck and ensure that when needed getting the spare is a simple and easy process.
