A self levelling system uses 4 hydraulic rams that extend down from the chassis and using an electronic control system the truck is automatically raised until it is perfectly level.
Not only does this negate the need for ramps but as they are attached directly to the chassis this bypasses the suspension so there is much less movement in the box.
The rams can also be used to raise the axles off the ground to change a wheel or work underneath.
The system is powered by an electric hydraulic pump which has a manual override in case of a failure.
This is the perfect solution for a lower vehicle such as an IVECO daily where the rams don't need to be too long as to cause clearance issues.
