Cab Passthrough

A popular option is to fit a passthrough that allows to to go between the cab and the habitation box without leaving the vehicle. This can be helpful for quickly grabbing something, moving through when it is wet outside and for security purposes.

We fit a cabin door in the front wall of the box and cut a corresponding hole in the rear of the cab which gets a frame welded into it to strengthen the rear of the cab back to factory conditions.

A bellow mount is bonded on to the front face of the box and an equal frame is bolted into the rear of the cab.

Between the two we mount a rubber bellow which ensures that the passage remains dry without restricting the all important articulation and relative movement between cab and habitation box.

It is worth noting that as the passthrough essentially creates a hole in the rear face of the cab, it does increase the sound levels in the cab whilst driving.
