The most cost effective option is to use a commercial vehicle set of steps, these tend to be best suited for vehicles where the box isn't too high up or alternatively where maximum ground clearance isn't a must.
We can supply steps from Tackler's range which offer a wide variety of different styles.
We also have in house solutions, we have a design for an aluminium clip on ladder that is stored on the rear of the truck and clips on to the subframe. This gives a very simple and solid solution with a premium look and feel.
If you wanted something permanently mounted we have also developed an electric concertina stair that extends and retracts with the flick of a switch and is sealed inside a toolbox when not in use.
Another solution that works well for some vehicles is a manual concertina system made by the American company Torklift, these are mounted to the subframe and pull out and rest on the floor.
